Uma Casa Rural is located in Charneca, meaning “moorland,” above Santa Bárbara de Nexe, on the first hills rising from the sea of Faro to an altitude of 300 meters. We are in an agricultural area, with no housing developments, industries, or shopping malls. In the heart of the most authentic Algarve, from Faro the capital of the Algarve to the Gadiana River, which separates Portugal from Spain. The street is Caminho da Charneca, but without a road number.
